On Daydream, Katherine Jenkins explored a more introspective and folk-inspired direction, blending traditional hymns and Celtic melodies with cinematic orchestration. Produced by Mike Hedges, the album includes heartfelt interpretations of Black Is the Colour, Break It to My Heart, and A Flower Tells a Story. Its warmth and simplicity earned Jenkins another No. 1 on the UK Classical Chart and widespread critical praise for its sincerity and restraint.
