Katherine Jenkins’s debut album, Première, introduced her as one of Britain’s most exciting new classical voices. Released through Universal Classics & Jazz, it blends sacred arias, traditional Welsh songs and crossover favourites such as The Lord Is My Shepherd and Lascia Ch’io Pianga. The record quickly topped the UK classical chart and set the tone for Jenkins’s signature mix of operatic purity and popular accessibility.
